It is good for the compressed air to be discharged from the air plug and gap during feeding, and it is good for the beads to fill the mold cavity quickly. When the steam is heated, the air and condensed water between the beads can be discharged from the cavity through the pores and gaps at the same time.
When using special beads for vanishing mold, due to the small diameter of beads, no gaps are left when the mold is closed, and the air and condensed water between beads can only be discharged from the mold cavity through the air plug. And leave a gap will make parting surface flash.
(2) preheat mold
Preheat mold before feeding is to reduce the condensation of the beads foam molding steam, shorten the foam molding time.
(3) Feeding
Commonly used feeding method. With the material gun, the beads are sucked into the mold cavity by using compressed air.
For simple mold cavity, this method works well. However, for more complex molds, the bead can not be fully filled cavity.
(4) Fixed mold through steam heating
The steam enters the fixed mold air chamber and enters the mold cavity through the air hole on the mold to expel the air and condensed water between the beads from the moving mold cavity through the air hole on the mold wall.
The moving mold passes steam
The steam enters the moving mold air chamber and enters the mold cavity through the air hole on the mold to expel the air and condensed water between the beads from the fixed mold cavity through the air hole on the mold wall.
(5) Fixed, moving mold through steam
At the same time, the fixed and moving mold passes steam and maintains it for several seconds under the set pressure. The beads are softened by heat and re-expanded to fill all gaps in the mold cavity and bond to each other as a whole.
All landowners water cooling
Turn off the steam, and at the same time, pass the cooling water into the solid and mode-shifting air chamber to cool the shape of the mold and cool the mold until the demoulding temperature, generally below 80℃.
Vacuum cooling
Drain the cooling water and open the vacuum to further cool the pattern and reduce the moisture content of the pattern.
(6) Mold and demoulding
Open the mold on the molding machine, select the appropriate way to take the mold, such as water and gas superposition, mechanical rod and vacuum chuck device to take out the pattern.
Notes when forming
(1) the selection of steam pressure to consider the type of beads, specifications, shape structure, steam into the mold way.
(2) according to the structural characteristics of the mold, choose the appropriate feeding method. Filling is not enough to lead to the formation of defects, too much will increase the shape of the density gradient.
(3) control the heat of steam. The superheated air will rapidly expand in the same gas plug area, preventing the steam from spreading inward. It is better to use the superheated steam, which will penetrate into the beads in a dry state.
(4) steam the right time. A long period of steam passage causes the pattern to contract sharply as it cools.
(5) after the shape forming followed by cooling. Until the internal temperature of the shape is cool enough to release the mold. Otherwise, there will be expansion pressure inside the shape, which will cause the shape to expand and deform.
